Steering Committee

Each year, members of the Healthy St. Mary’s Partnership elect an HSMP Co-Chair and HSMP Vice-Chair to sit on the HSMP Steering Committee. Every two years, members elect Action Team Co-Chairs to sit on the HSMP Steering Committee. Individuals serving in these roles provide overall leadership for HSMP and its action teams.

The Steering Committee works to enhance the capacity of the Healthy St. Mary’s Partnership by:

  • Providing leadership and direction for HSMP and its Action Teams
  • Making operational decisions to guide the HSMP in accomplishing its mission in accordance with bylaws
  • Providing ongoing evaluation of the HSMP goals and objectives, organizational structure, and operation to ensure effective and efficient progress toward local health improvement
