Teens Against Nicotine

Public Service Announcement Developed by TFL Jr Team member Hampton Watts

Teens Against Nicotine is a peer-to-peer network and social media campaign run by students in the Tobacco Free Living Junior (TFL Jr) Team at Great Mills High School to promote healthy lung behavior and discourage smoking and vaping among young people.

Teens Against Nicotine is a program of Medicine for the Greater Good, a community health outreach initiative of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Students learn the basics of lung health from health professionals provided by Medicine for the Greater Good. They communicate their new knowledge to their peers by creating and distributing social media content via podcasts, Instagram, and other social media channels. The goal is to promote healthy lung behavior and reduce health disparities.
