The 2026 HSMP Annual Meeting will be held on September 24, 2026, at the USMSM SMART Building in California, Maryland, from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The HSMP Annual Meeting is an opportunity for participants to network, learn from public health experts, and receive updates on coalition-wide business. Each year, the HSMP Annual Meeting features learning sessions from distinguished presenters on topics related to the four health priority issues in St. Mary’s County: Behavioral Health, Chronic Disease, Environmental Health, and Violence, Injury, and Trauma. 

This year, we will choose speakers who focus on current research and innovative or evidence-based practices related to our theme, Advancing Community Health Together.

Toiletries Drive

HSMP will also host a toiletries drive at the 2026 HSMP Annual Meeting. All community members are invited to attend the HSMP Annual Meeting or drop off new and unopened donations during the event. Donations will benefit the St. Mary’s County Public Schools. Items needed include, but are not limited to: period products (pads, tampons, liners, and reusable options), tooth brushes/tooth paste, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, and soap.

June 8 – July 2: Call for presenters
July 10: Speakers notified of acceptance
July 31: Speakers must confirm acceptance
July 9 – August 13: Call for vendors
July 9: Attendee registration opens
August 28: Vendors notified of acceptance
August 31: Speakers submit final title, description, and headshot
September 10: Speakers submit final copy of slides
September 24: Annual Meeting
